A horrific road accident took place on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, in which 18 people died and 20 were injured due to the collision between a sleeper bus and a milk tanker.

The accident occurred at 5:30 am when the sleeper bus, which was traveling from Bihar to Delhi, collided with a milk tanker. Due to this, the front part of the bus was shattered, due to which many people were left stranded.
After the accident, there was an outcry on the spot and the local people immediately arrived for help. SDM Namrata Singh immediately reached the spot and gave instructions to get involved in relief work, and also made arrangements for medical treatment of the injured.
