Kathua terrorist attack , Jammu and Kashmir: Defense Secretary Giridhar Armane has expressed deep sorrow over the terrorist attack in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir and has given a message of strict action by the Indian Army against the terrorists. He has said that the martyrdom of five army personnel will be avenged and India will defeat the evil forces behind this incident.
In this attack, five soldiers including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were martyred, while five other soldiers were injured. This attack took place on an army patrolling team in a hilly area, where the terrorists suddenly attacked. The army immediately counter-attacked but the terrorists escaped into the forest.

Expressing deep grief over the incident, the Defense Secretary said, “I express deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the five brave men and express my condolences to their families. These brave men have sacrificed their all in the service of the nation and will always inspire us.” Their sacrificial life should be remembered. We will root out the evil forces behind this attack.”
Apart from this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also expressed deep sorrow over this attack and inspired the entire army to stand with the families of those martyrs.
After this terrorist attack, security forces have launched a massive search operation to nab the terrorists as quickly as possible.
It is being told here that in this attack, terrorist groups had attacked the army team with a big plan. The terrorist suddenly attacked after revealing the location of the soldiers during patrolling.
A key Defense Ministry official said, “We are making every possible effort to defeat the evil forces behind this incident. The Army has been instructed to take action with full force.”
Meanwhile, administrative officials and security forces teams are busy searching for terrorists and considering measures to increase security in Kathua district.
